Event Planning

Email notifications

Event Planning keeps you in the loop by email, so you don’t have to keep checking the tool. The emails go to the coach automatically — there’s nothing to set up.

When an athlete responds

As soon as an athlete — or their parent — accepts or declines through their accept/decline link, you get an email telling you who responded, to which competition, and whether they accepted or declined. You stay up to date without refreshing the participation overview.

Deadline reminders

If you’ve set a register-by or withdraw-by date on a competition, SportsBracket sends you a reminder 3 days and again 1 daybefore the deadline — but only while athletes still haven’t responded. Each reminder is a short digest per plan, listing the competitions with an approaching deadline and the athletes you’re still waiting on.

No matching deadlines on a given day means no email — you only hear from us when there’s something to act on.

Who gets them

Both kinds of email go to the coachwho manages the plan. Athletes and parents don’t need an account — they just use the link — so the notifications are for you, the person doing the planning.
