Your competition on SportsBracket

SportsBracket lists public competition information so athletes and coaches can find events to enter. If you run an event, here is how your data is used — and how to claim, correct or remove it.

Why your event is listed

SportsBracket collects publicly available competition details — name, date, location, sport and organizer — and presents them so athletes and coaches can discover events worldwide. Each listing attributes its source and links back to it.

We list this information to help competitors find your event, not to compete with you. More visibility means more athletes who know your competition exists.

We send athletes to you

SportsBracket isn't a rival entry platform. When someone wants to enter your competition we send them to your own registration — Smoothcomp, your federation, your website — and entries, fees and communication stay entirely with you.

What we're building next is a relay, not a replacement: a coach planning their club's season could forward a whole squad's entries straight into your system in one step — fewer forms for them, more and cleaner team entries for you. Always hand-in-hand with you, never around you.

How we collect it — respectfully

Our crawler identifies itself as SportsBracketBot and plays by the rules: it follows your robots.txt (including any crawl-delay), spaces its requests (at least ~10 seconds apart), and backs off when a site returns errors or looks busy. If you'd rather we didn't crawl you, a robots.txt rule is all it takes.

We reproduce facts, faithfully

Listings reproduce factual details — name, date, location, sport and organizer — as published by the source. We never present ourselves as the organizer of your event, and we don't imply any affiliation or endorsement you haven't given us.

Claim, correct or remove your listing

Claim your club

Link your club to your SportsBracket account to manage how it appears and reach the athletes following it.

Correct a detail

Spotted a wrong date, venue or name? Use the “Report an inaccuracy” link at the bottom of any page, or email us — we'll verify and fix it.

Request removal

Prefer not to be listed? Ask, and we'll honour genuine requests. Open your event or club page and use the “Remove this / not your data?” button — it reaches us directly, and we take genuine listings down and stop re-crawling the source.

Want to work with us?

Two things we'd love to explore with organizers: take your event data as a direct feed or API — you decide exactly what's published — and, for coaches entering a whole club squad, let them forward those planned entries straight into your registration. This only ever works with you, not around you. Get in touch.

We want this to work for organizers, not around them. If something does not look right, tell us at [email protected] and we will make it right.
