In case you want to make changes to an already existing registration or want to include someone new, please contact An ([email removed]) ______________________ The 8th Tomodachi Kata Cup welcomes all (Shin)Kyokushinkai organisations. - 22 categories (individual & team) - Juniors and adults of all levels (min. 8th kyu) - Flag system - Max. 200 participants (First come, first serve) - 3 tatami mats 8x8m RULES Competitors must perform the prescribed kata from the respective round. With this transparent and fair system Aka & Shiro perform the same kata. The list of katas is found in the "Invitation 2026" document on www.tomodachi-dojo.ch -> Tomodachi Kata Cup There are two third places. It is allowed to start the kata a second time. The key date for age classification is the age at tournament day (U16 = not yet 16 years of age). Registration with wrong age or grade can lead to disqualification. Participants at the age of 14 and 15 are allowed to additionally participate in the +16 categories. +40 participants can choose to compete either in the +16 categories, Golden League or +40 category. A lower belt competitor is allowed to compete in a higher belt category. To save time, we reserve the right to let the lower belt U16 individual categories perform their kata simultaneously. Golden League Adults (+18) who have competed in adult European or World Championships within the last two years or those who want to challenge themselves, compete in this separate high-level category. It is not allowed to start the kata a second time. Not finishing the kata leads to disqualification. Team Competitors can only register in one team. Exception: Juniors from the age of 14yrs can additionally compete in the +16 team category in the afternoon. “Tomodachi Kata Cup rules” (in German) are relevant in case of discussions. REGISTRATION Before February 7th, 2026 CHF 40.- (individual), CHF 50.- (team) An invoice will be sent 2 weeks prior to tournament date. No refund after this date. REFEREES A wide range of referees from different Kyokushin organisations and the supervision of the tournament main referee secure a fair evaluation. Whenever possible referees will be substituted if competitors from the same dojo are competing. We welcome referees starting from 2nd kyu. Being a referee in the morning as well as a competitor in the afternoon is possible. Referees can wear their organisation’s uniform. Drinks and food will be provided.
