European Karate Championship

European Karate Championship for adults (minimum age for competitors must be 18 years on the day of competition) and juniors (born in 2006 and 2007). Two participants per country in each kumite and kata category. Host country has one extra participant in each kumite and kata category. Adults: Kumite women: -50, 50-54, 54-59, 59-65, +65kg Kumite men: -60, 60-70, 70-80, 80-90, +90kg Kata women Kata men Team kata Juniors U18: Kumite girls: -50, 50-55, 55-60, 60-65, +65kg Kumite boys: -60, 60-65, 65-70, 70-75, 75-80, +80kg Kata girls Kata boys Team kata Requirements At the registration and medical control, all participants are requested to present: Medical certificate (English), not older than 1 month. Proof of age (ID or Passport). EKO passport All protectors and Karate-gi according to the rules. The organizer will provide helmets for juniors on the kumite competition.
