Belgian Knockdown Championship Ryo Dojo organizes for the third time (first time in 2022) the Belgian Knockdown Championship with the support of BFKK (IFK branch Belgium), Shinkyokushin Belgium and Rengokai Belgium. It’s an open Western European Championship. We hope to receive many fighters from all organizations: national and international. We have six categories for adult (21+) fighters, six for adult U21 (18-20) and six for cadets U18 (16-17). All groups consist of men -70/-80/+80 and women -55/-65/+65. The required information about your dojo/ organization that is registering on: belgianknockdown.be All personal information regarding, fighters, coaches, referees or country representatives on: fighters.belgianknockdown.be Participants who need a visa to enter the Eurozone, please follow the instructions on: belgianknockdown.be Entry Tickets You need to buy tickets on registration.belgianknockdown.be After entering your dojo information, please select the amount of entry-tickets for fighters, referees, coaches and support staff. Due to capacity restrictions of the venue, we have to put limits on the inscriptions. Therefor we also have a maximum of 32 fighters in each category. Each dojo or organization with more than 3 registered fighters can bring 3 coaches, but no more coaches than the actual number of fighters. Please also buy tickets for coaches and referee’s even if the fee is 0€. Important: Important: You will not be able to enter the tournament grounds without a ticket. After registration you will receive an invoice. You will be asked to confirm a summary of your order. Until then, feel free to freely fill in the form to check the options and the prices. After that you will be asked to pay online or if you select “pay later” you will get an invoice to pay. We consider the registration as a purchase. After payment you will be able to download all the tickets. Hotel, airport/railway transportation and sayonara party You can order your hotel, transportation and a ticket to the sayonara party with our organization. This is not mandatory, of course you are welcome to make your own arrangements. Our offer is however a unique opportunity to be considered: Two nights in hotel Dolce La Hulpe**** , - (4 km from the venue of the championship), breakfast not included. Rules Categories U18, U21 and +21 fight in the following categories: Men -70/-80/+80kg Women -55/-65/+65kg Age Cadets U18: date of birth is after 21/03/2008 and before 21/03/2010 U21: date of birth is after 21/03/2005 and before 21/03/2008 Adults (21+): date of birth on or before 23/03/2005 WeightWeight is determined on Friday or on Saturday morning before the tournament. The draw is after the weigh on Friday, until then changes in categories are possible. Fighters who weigh on Saturday and have a different weight than the category weight in which they registered are automatically disqualified from the tournament. There are no scales during the tournament itself. Protection and equipment Adequate karategi and obi. Instep shin guards (shin and foot is covered) for cadets and U21, not for 21+. Groin protection for men. Chest protection for women - only cups are allowed, plexus must be free. Head and glove protection for U18 cadets. Conditons of participation Online application form has been correctly completed and fees are paid in full. The participant can prove his identity by means of the ID card or passport. The participant has a medical certificate that allows him to practice this sport competitively (certificate not older than 1 year). The competitor is insured for physical damage. The competitor is willing to participate in a doping test. Tamashiware will be in group for all adult categories before the semi finals and decisive on number of boards broken (seiken, shuto, empi) after the semi final bout on second hike-wake after weight consideration. For all other matters, the IFK knockdown rules apply.
