REGULATIONS I. Competition Venue, Schedule and Weigh-in 1. Date: March 1, 2025, Saturday; 2. Venue: "Kėdainiu Arena," J. Basanavičiaus g. 1a, Kėdainiai; 3. 10:00 – 11:30 Registration and weigh-in; 4. 10:00 Referees' briefing at the competition venue; 5. 13:00 Opening ceremony. II. Participation Conditions, Rules, and Program Men’s Kumite: · Weight categories: (-60, 60-70, 70-80, 80-90, +90) kg; · Experience: >= 6 kyu; · Rules: EKO kumite rules; · Fight duration: o Up to quarter-finals: 3 min; 2 min; 2 min; o Quarter-finals, semi-finals, and finals: 3 min; 2 min; 2 min; 2 min; · Groin protection is mandatory. · Mouthguards must be white or transparent. · Age: Born on or before March 1, 2007. Women’s Kumite: · Weight categories: (-50, 50-54, 54-59, 59-65, +65) kg; · Experience: >= 6 kyu; · Rules: EKO kumite rules; · Fight duration: o Up to quarter-finals: 3 min; 2 min; 2 min; o Quarter-finals, semi-finals, and finals: 3 min; 2 min; 2 min; 2 min; · Mandatory protective gear: white shin guards, chest protectors (under white T-shirts), and groin protectors. Equipment will be checked during registration. · Mouthguards must be white or transparent. · Age: Born on or before March 1, 2007. Regardless of the number of participants, all categories will have a fight for third place. Coaches and seconds must wear sports attire. III. Financing Athletes are financed by municipal and regional sports departments, clubs, and other organizations. Participation fee: €25 . IV.
